SiS 741CX Chipset

The SiS741 chipset features a SiS Mirage Graphic, an AGP8X port, and a Shared Memory Architecture DDR400 unified memory controller, supporting the AMD Athlon XP microprocessors series with FSB up to 400MHz. It also integrates a high performance 3.2GB/s DDR400 Memory controller to sustain the bandwidth demand from integrated GUIs or external AGP masters, host processor, as well as multi I/O masters. The integrated Mirage GraphicsEngine features a 256-bit 3D, and a 128-bit 2D Graphics engine, a video accelerator, a MPEG1/II motion compensation decoder, and a video link (combined with an AGP port) to support TV-out & digital flat panels.
