 LS-371 3.5" Miniboard with Core 2 Duo CPU

(TAIPEI, TAIWAN, NOV. 20, 2006) - Taiwan Commate Computer Inc.(COMMELL), the worldwide leader of Single Board Computers, introduced the  3.5" Embedded Miniboard LS-371 with the latest intel Centrino mobile technology 945GM Express  chipset, which supports the intel Core 2 Duo, Core Duo, Core Solo and Intel Celeron M processors on 65nm , it is enhanced to handle today`s demanding software applications - such as graphics-intensive games or serious number-crunching programs.

COMMELL's  LS-371 Embedded Miniboard supports for 667MHz Front Side Bus to up to 25% increase in Front Side Bus bandwidth over the previous generation and support for dual channel DDR2 667MHz up to 2GB memory. Integrated 256-bit graphic core running at 400MHz and DirectX 9 3D hardware acceleration, based on Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950(Intel GMA 950) architecture, delivers a 2 times improvement in graphics performance over the previous generation chipset , The integrated display controller comes with up to 2048x1536 resolution for both analog and digital displays, Multiple display types(LVDS,DVI,HDTV,TV-out,CRT), and HDTV 480i/p, 576i/p, 720i/p, 1080i/p display resolution support.

The LS-371 comes with PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse, 1 x RS232C & 1 x RS/232/422/485, UltraATA 100 EIDE and integrated Serial ATA host controller supports two ports with data transfers up to 150MB/s, Networking is provided by Intel 82573L PCI-Express 10/100/1000Mbps LAN, 4 x USB2.0 ports for 40X faster data transfer rate and backward compatible to support USB 1.0 devices and AC97 3D Audio are also integrated. A Mini PCI slot uses Mini PCI add-on card for easily using any wireless card or other commell add-on cards(GPS, COM, LAN, Video Capture, IEEE1394,-----). Additionally, LS-371 is also equipped with CompactFalsh Interface for easily using any memory card.

Based on the small form factor and its own full range 8~24V DC used, the LS-371 is the high performance solution in the Car PC with MP-954GPS navigation function or Mobile DVR with MP-878D(D2) video capture application.
